Effects of Organophosphate and Pyrethroid Insecticides Mixture on the Haemato-Biochemical and Histological Function of Male Albino Rats

Pesticides have been used to treat agricultural lands since ancient times. The effects of an organophosphate (OP) and pyrethroid combination on the haemato-biochemical histological functions male albino rats were investigated. Male (total 18 rats, 12 are treated 6 control) dermally with two combinations for 8 weeks (chlorpyrifos, chlorpyrifos-methyl, lambda-cyhalothrin). We also looked at organ weights, haematological changes, clinical symptoms. Except RBCs, total protein, haemoglobin, all measures rose in after weeks. After 4 weeks, Runsave Lambaphos treatments had RBC counts 5.02 5.15 106/mm3, respectively, compared 6.1 106/mm3 control group. Haemoglobin values Runsave, Lambaphos, chlorpyrifos, chlorpyrifosmethyl, lambda-cyhalothrin 13.53, 14.27, 14.60, 15.03, 15.27 g/100 ml toxicant administration, 16.53 control. Haematological parameters change correlated positively exposure time. A examination liver kidney found that Runsavetreated uneven structure, severely congested blood arteries, necrotic areas, fatty liver, pyknotic nuclei, cytoplasmic vacuolation hepatic cells. Lambaphos-treated shows haemolysis, vacuolation, partial structural disruption. Bowman's capsule, glomeruli, proximal tubule normal kidney. abnormal renal anatomy. kidneys asymmetrical. This study demonstrated subjected insecticide mixture significant haematobiochemical changes group.
